What is Residual Income?

Residual income is money generated over time from work done one time. Many of these occur in the multi-tier or MLM Affiliate Programs. Some examples of residual income include:

* A casino affiliate program that gives you 15-20% of each players deposits each month.
* Fitness instructors who produces a video and sell it online and at the gym where they teach.
* A marketing consultant who creates an e-book and sells it on the Internet.
* A photographer who makes his photos available through a stock photography clearinghouse and gets paid a certain amount of money whenever someone buys one of his images.
* A company such as Mary Kay that uses multiple tiers to help distribute more products by paying x amount of dollars for each individual tier of the affiliate marketer.
