Affiliate Networks

An affiliate network acts as a median between publishers and merchants. It allows website publishers to find and participate in affiliate programs which are suitable for them. This in turn allows websites offering affiliate programs to reach a much larger audience by allowing publishers (affiliates) to promote their affiliate programs.
Affiliate networks allow merchants to offer affiliates a share of any revenue that is generated by the merchant from visitors to the affiliate’s site by completing a specific action (registering for a newsletter, making a purchase, etc.).
Affiliates are usually able to join affiliate networks such as clixGalore and Amazon for free. For merchants there is generally a fee to allow them to participate.
